Professor V. Sree Hari Rao is the Executive Director of the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation (INCIRI), Hyderabad, and Distinguished Professor in Departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Information Technology of Stanley College of Engineering & Technology for Women, Hyderabad. This Institution is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. He had obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. Professor Rao is a Fellow of several learned academies, which include National Academy of Sciences, India, Forum D’ Analystes, and the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers of India.

Professor Rao has made fundamentally significant contributions in nonlinear dynamical systems, predictive mathematical modelling in Science, Engineering, and Medicine, neural networks and machine learning, and knowledge discovery and data mining. He has also made many important contributions in the application domains, such as aerospace engineering systems, banking technologies, insurance and finance, modelling in biology and medicine, health care technologies, and associative and evolutionary technologies. The Software package, entitled “VB Classif 1.0 -- A novel classification tool for the control of vector borne diseases”, was developed by Professor Rao and Dr. USN Murty has been patented/copyrighted with the CSIR, India.

Professor Rao is the Founder and continuing Editor-in-Chief of the research journal Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems – Springer, and the Editor-in-Chief of Research Monographs/Graduate/Undergraduate Texts/Research Seminar /Tutorial Series in Computer Information Science and Mathematical Sciences. He is a Regional Editor of the International Journal of Electronic Modelling, a Section Editor of Global Journal of Infectious Diseases, and an International Advisory Editor for Engineering Simulation. He is also serving as a member of the editorial board of many scholarly journals, such as International Journal of Neural Systems, Nonlinear Dynamics and System Theory, Bulletin of the Marathwada Mathematical Society, Research Monograph Series on “Stability and Control”. He had served as a member of the Editorial Board of the journals, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, Chaos, Solitons, and Fractals, and Nonlinear Analysis, Real World Applications, both from Elsevier .

Professor Rao has delivered invited and keynote lectures in numerous international conferences in India, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Czech, Slovakia, Turkey, Russia, Brazil, Germany, South Africa, Colombia, and China. He has also held the prestigious position of CIMPA Lecturership in African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), Muizenberg, Cape Town, South Africa during 2011. He has also served as a member of the International Organizing Committees of various conferences in India and abroad.

His corporate assignments include among others, (i) Director, 2007-2008, North Gate Technologies - A leading Multinational I.T. Company; (ii) Director, Research and Development, TARA SOFT, Private Ltd., and (iii) Adjunct Professor in the Institute for Development of Research in Banking Technologies, established by Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad during 2012-13.
